A simple fun game to encourage the development of your child’s vocabulary, memory and concentration. The 48 picture tiles (2 each of 24 animals) feature colourful animal characters designed by Jim Edmiston. The tiles are place face down in a grid pattern and the aim of the game is to turn over pairs of tiles, memorising positions so that matching animal twins may be collected next time. Played alone Gemelli is a quiet activity for developing concentration and memory. With more players, it's even more of a memory challenge to remember where the animals are that have already been turned over. And you have to wait your turn, which is sometimes harder than anything. The youngest player always goes first. The player who has collected the most tiles after all the animal twins have been found is the winner. 48 Wooden Tiles 64 mm X 64 mm The name Gemelli was suggested by our neighbours Luigi and Rose and is Italian for twins |
